These two pictures are exactly the same except as you can see the picture on the left has been edited in which I used photomatix to tone map the picture to make the black and white stand out more and also loose that bit of colour and brightness. In the right picture you can see that there are many colour in which are not as colourful as they could be even though in the left picture its not colourful you can still see the graffitti stand out and makes the water look more darker then it actually is.
This is a picture of Beyonce in which I have edited to make it looks like pop art. I used photoshop and made eight duplicate layers to colour in different parts of her face, hair, lips, earrings, eyes, eyebrows, chest and the background. Before I coloured the picture I had to use the lasso tool to cut out the background then invert it to make the background white which I didnt really have to do because the background was already white, then I cut out around her head also using the lasso tool. I used threshold to make the picture light enough so that her features still stood out but also gave it that artistic look. I then began to duplicate layers and colour in her face.
This is another picture of Beyonce in which I simply just posterized. I like this look because of the fierey colour of her hair which almost makes it looks like a lions mane.
I had took this picture for my location shoot in which you will see on the Barr Beacon page, however I have had something pointed out to me that as this is not a night time shoot and the lights of the car
This is a picture of me in which I have used photoshop to create a pop art look, I used many layers to colour the different parts of the picture and have left the top white just to give it that bit of brightness.
Essay
Sometimes when i pick my son up from nursery his more or less got dried snot wiped accross his face! Why do the nursery teachers not notice this as this must mean my son's nose was running that much he had wiped it with his sleeve, leaving a trail on snot where ever he had wiped. The nursery teachers need to be more aware of kids noses when taking them outside to play.
Using a nikon d90 I set the setting to multiple composure and this is what it gave me. Three different images in one so that it gives that ghostly effect, making something thats not there look as if it may have been there.
This is a picture I took when I was on holiday in Mallorca, the picture on the right is the original image the one on the left is what I have edited in photomatix to try and make the picture look like a painting. At first I just wanted a brighter picture with hardness showing the rocks looking more hard but using the setting in photomatix I chose a setting called painterly two.
This picture is a combination on the two top pictures and tone maping thats why its bright, the water still looks as though it could be a painting and the tone maping has made the rocks look hard. In this picture you can also see all the dark places are light and it makes it look as though there is a dark cloud in the cave.
This is a graffiti picture that I have edited using hdr toning in which I wanted this picture to have a glow which you can see it has. It also looks as if it could be a painting because of the way I have edited it.
Using photoshop I firstly clicked on adjustmenst then colour balance, in which I made the colour stand out just that bit more. After that I duplicatyed the layer in which I then clicked on ajustments and then gradient which turned my picture black and white. When that had changed I used the rubber tool to rub out all the part where you can see colour and thats how I got the picture I wanted. I like this picture because of the way I have coloured it, it dont show too much colour and still stands out.
Using photoshop I inverted the background picture so it will give of that ghostly horrid look, I then used photomatix to tone map it to make the details of the walls stand out more so it would look as though it could be a vampires layer. I saved the picture then re uploaded it to photoshop where I had cut out the picture of Aaliyah then dragged it on tp of my background picture. I wanted it to llok as though she was walking towards you. She is a vampire and thats the reason I had chosen to do that background.
This is another image i decied to edit with HDR, however in this one i chose to put more colour in it to make it look as if it is the suburbs.
